A taste of New Zealand. The images are from Marlborough Sounds in the Northern part of the South Island and also from Waheke Island in the North Island.

One unusual aspect of New Zealand is the variety of different climates and terrains clustered so close together that it almost seems impossible. For example in the South island there is a hot dry Mediterranean micro climate where grapes can be grown, while close by there are rainforests and snow covered mountains and fijords, as well as the balmy Marlborough Sounds.
