  • There are no fences and no one to warn you.  The elephants suddenly appear, and running faster than a person, move like a massive unstoppable river of living flesh, down to the water.  The Sri Lankans along the road close their shops and draw in their awnings in case the barely in control elephants should accidentally smash into them.<br />
